Session 2013
The PGPF fiscal policy intern at Brookings will provide research support on a variety of projects related to tax and budget policy. The projects may include a research paper on the evolution of the U.S. budget over the past 40 years, a research project on the economic effects of budget deficits, or ongoing research related to the alternative minimum tax. The specific duties will depend on the individual's interest and abilities, but will likely include collecting and analyzing budget data, performing statistical analysis, writing literature reviews, assembling reference lists, and providing other research support. The intern will be part of a research team and should be comfortable working in a team environment.
